TEMA Roofing Services is proud to be the only commercial roofing company in the Youngstown, OH area that has the ability to contract with The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS) and OMNIA Partners cooperative buying organizations. These strategic partnerships give our clients in certain industries access to an alternative method for purchasing roofing services.
Both groups offer members access to competitively procured purchasing contracts, alleviating the headache of completing the bidding process without knowledgeable support.
TEMA Roofing was also recently added as a corporate affiliate for The Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania (AICUP). The AICUP’s partnership serves the interests of private higher education institutions throughout Pennsylvania, giving them the opportunity to benefit from cooperative purchasing contract solutions for renovation and expansion projects.

Understanding Cooperative Purchasing Contracts
Buying cooperatives offer immense purchasing power and access to world-class suppliers. They also give organizations the opportunity to save time and money by eliminating the RFP contracting process and avoiding the risks of low-bid, low-quality work.
TEMA Roofing has been awarded a contract with both TIPS and OMNIA Partners to provide a wide range of commercial roofing services and job-order-contracting.
OMNIA Partners does a great job of explaining the advantages of their buying cooperative when considering needs like commercial roofing for school systems and government entities:
“All contracts available through OMNIA Partners are competitively solicited and publicly awarded by a lead agency (government entity/educational institution), using a competitive solicitation process consistent with applicable procurement laws and regulations. With our even bigger team of experts dedicated specifically to municipal buying, and the nation’s most comprehensive portfolio of products and services, OMNIA Partners empowers your complex agency to make budgets work harder than ever.”

Case Study – Boardman Glenwood School
The 36,000 sq. ft. partial re-roof utilized white Duro-Last PVC. The material offers proven performance, especially when compared to other membranes (like TPO). Duro-Last PVC membranes are composed of film layers, laminated on both sides. It welds better, performs better and has a longer industry track record.
Case Study – Boardman Stadium Drive School
At the Stadium Drive project, roof maintenance consisted of a customized plan that incorporated commercially cleaning all 61,000 sq. feet of the roof’s surface, which had not been done since the original installation (nearly 10 years prior). This commercial power wash service, combined with bi-annual preventative maintenance, brought the building’s maintenance up-to-date and will help to increase the roof’s overall life expectancy.
